Responsible Urban Art

Responsible Urban Art

Responsible Urban Art is a project to improve the public’s standard of living by changing how graffiti artists do their work. Duncan Campbell inspires graffiti artists to paint works people want to see and to publish them in a way that allows their fans to take the work home to enjoy every day leaving walls undamaged.

This temporary, non-destructive and take-home-able quality of Responsible Urban Art allows artists to put their art and their message in front of the eyes of their fans in their homes every day. They engage with the work and advocate it to their friends becoming willing ambassadors for the artist, spreading the word.

This passionate ambassador model of urban art increases social media sharing and is a powerful platform for discussion and dispersion of concepts that will make the world better for everyone.

The images below are from New York and Bogota. All paintings are attached with temporary fastenings and members of the public take the works home with them leaving the walls unmarked.
